Textured Triptych: a Mixed Up Creative Exclusive!
I’m so thrilled to share with you my tutorial for this month’s Mixed Up Creative VIP Club! New projects are available each month on Mixed Up Creative. This month, we’ve teamed up with Deco Art to provide three colorful, textured projects inspired by acrylic paint and mediums! In my first tutorial for Mixed Up Creative, I’ll show you how to create a textured triptych full of floral inspiration, rainbow colors and physical as well as visual texture! Mary Szymanski shows you how she creates a variety of gel plate prints and then collages them to stunning effect. The gorgeous coneflowers bursting from this canvas are the perfect antidote for winter (below)!
And, finally, we have Jennifer Gallagher with a step-by-step tutorial for her large arty canvas where she creates stunning paint effects and a stencil technique to create a wonderfully atmospheric scene (below).
There are always free projects provided on the blog to give you a little creative boost and get you started. But did you know that for less than $7 a month, you can access an array of tutorials (both step-by-step articles and video tutorials) that are downloadable as well as printable collage sheets and so much more!
